Investigations into the environmental and socio-economic impacts of the project began in 2007 with the development of the initial environmental and social impact assessments. Since then, investigations have continued to further extend the scope of impacts assessed and develop a comprehensive baseline for all environmental and social aspects that may be affected by the project.
